Sevda Onder - Glow Cycle Teacher

GV_LogoHiRessmlSevda is a Glow Cycle teacher, you can book into her classes here.

What is the best time of the day to practise/exercise?

First thing in the morning. It helps you to feel energised for the rest of the day.

What do you recommend to eat before your class? after the class?

At least 1.5 – 2 hours before, have a nutritious meal/snack containing dark green veggies with grilled meat/fish. Even better, juice your greens and drink them – great for your digestion, skin and energy.

Post workout within 30-60 minutes, you should eat carbs such as sweet potato, dark greens (raw) and meat or fish.

What do you love about Good Vibes?

I was very excited when I came across Nahid and the team, they are individually knowledgeable and I am looking forward to working with and learning from them.

What do you teach in class?

I teach cycling and have done since 2007, aqua, boot camp, circuit, core blast, abs attack, extreme fit (like Insanity). I am currently working with an MMA coach to hopefully teach this in the years to come. I also hope to add yoga to my list at some point next year.

How will I feel after your class?

Epic, sweaty and like a breath of fresh air, my sweat to the beat rave style cycle will be a positively life changing experience – never again will you underestimate yourself and your capabilities.

Tell us something surprising about yourself...

My go to for stress relief is martial arts and hitting the gym, but to be free and find peace, I love to dance, especially Latin.

Sevda Onder's background passion comes from her study of dance and martial arts as a child. This translated into becoming curious about how the human body worked and moved, and as a result she became a motion analyst and running specialist at Nike Town where she stayed for almost 4 years. Sevda graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Sciences from Brunel University and further continued her love of movement by becoming a freelance instructor and level 3 personal trainer, and is currently in the final year of her Physiotherapy degree.
