It's easy to start the week strong after an indulgent weekend. How are you at the end of the week when work has gotten deep into your bones? Do remember that your movement frees up the body and your mood. Feeling tired? P*ed off? Lethargic? Here's why you should book your classes on Thursday and Fridays;
You're less likely to give up
Sticking to an exercise plan, or at least regular sessions throughout the week means you're that much less likely to fall off the workout wagon. Taking a long break at the end of the week or staying sedentary for long periods means you're likely to be hit by an energy slump, leaving you with little motivation to hit the mat. Scheduling in a class for the end of your week or weekend will keep your energy levels right where they should be!
You'll ward off the winter blues
As Winter approaches we definitely recommend spending more time in our FAR Infrared heated yoga studios. Not only are they warm and cosy, they also lit by SAD lamps, which help to ward off seasonal depression which as well as low mood can also lead to craving carbohydrates, not good for weight loss. Getting your body moving will also help to improve your mood, which is so often needed on a grey cold morning!
You can indulge without feeling guilty
A little treat now and then is good for the soul. Exercising regularly means that tasty treat every so often won't have as much of an effect on your waistline. Regular Power Plate classes will boost your metabolism, which means you'll burn more calories, increasing your weight loss. It'll also tone your muscles and blast cellulite, just what's needed in prep for the party season.
Your skin will thank you
Exercise boosts the circulation of oxygen through the body and the delivery of nutrients to your skin, helping to detoxify the body by removing toxins. It also helps increase the natural production of collagen, the connective tissue that plumps your skin. Because of the increase in blood flow, you'll enter the weekend glowing!
