Summer has arrived!

Hello sunshine! it's been a few days now so this must be Summer!

If you want to spend more time outside, make sure you get in early for your classes. The morning classes are less busy and means that by the time your working day starts, you're already winning. And exercising regularly will give you glowing Summer skin. Exercise helps to clean your system from the inside out by flushing out toxins and increasing blood flow to your skin cells.

Practising in our FAR infrared heated yoga rooms all year long not only soothes inflammation and soreness and induces the production of collagen but also makes you work a little harder.

The cycle classes will let the sweat pour! Remember to wash your skin or wipe it down as you don't want the sweat to sit on your skin as it can cause breakouts.

And if you like it short and sweet Power Plates will get your blood vessels opening and your skin glowing in double quick time.

Healthy Summer Skin

You've been putting so much effort into getting your body ready for the Summer, make sure you have luscious, youthful skin to match.  Here are some tips on how to get healthy skin for this summer from Nichola Joss, beauty therapist of choice for a bevy of A-list beauties such as Scarlett Johansson, Hilary Swank, Gisele Bundchen and Gwyneth Paltrow.

1. Its essential to cleanse and prep your skin daily - i recommend double cleansing if you are a city dweller during the summer, pollution grime and humidity can cause congestion.

2. On the second cleanse i would recommend adding a powdered exfoliation product or a gentle exfoliating treatment into the cleanse.

3. SPF is essential to protect the skin throughout the day - use one with at least a 30 broad spectrum SPF including UVA and UVB.

4. To keep your skin glowing and dewy I advise a nightly massage ritual using a facial oil - this will re-balance the PH levels in the skin normalising any oily/dry patches as well as hydrating nourishing and feeding the skin. Spend a couple of minutes in the evening massaging away daily tension and stress whilst building up circulation to encourage speedier skin cell rejuvenation. It will also leave the skin feeling fresh plump and youthful looking
