The joy of running Good Vibes is welcoming in all of you, week in and week out. There is a such a comfort in knowing that we all share similar feelings about the state of the world, and so a HUGE thank you to all those who attended our charity yoga workshop.
With the extra donations that were given by those who couldn't attend, we managed to raise a staggering £1196.20 for the British Red Cross.
A huge thank you to Dimuthu, Zofia and Ling for giving their teaching for free and to Sibberi for providing take home refreshments, and to YOU for being part of it. It was a lovely heart felt and moving experience.
As the nights draw in we have a few restorative workshops coming up, keep an eye on the schedule, as feels like the right time of the year to balance out our energies.

Muscular Endurance training is a muscle-strengthening activity that increases the ability to perform aerobic cardiovascular exercise for an extended time.
Endurance training causes a shift in metabolism towards greater usage of fat for fuel. Training for duration at aerobic intensity releases hormones which include those that help to reprogram fat cells to burn energy and decrease appetite.
Endurance training tones and conditions the muscles rather than creating larger, bulky muscles. Muscles get stronger and are better able to carry out activities for a longer period. Leaner muscle burns 3 times more calories than fat even whilst at rest.

I love teaching the quieter yoga practices of restorative and yoga nidra, we all need to nourish ourselves a little bit more, especially as the nights start to draw in.
I also love the Good Vibes community so wanted to offer an event we where can practice together and then break bread together at one of my favourite London restaurants. A nourishing of souls and belly, if you will.
