What is the best time of the day to practise/exercise?
It completely depends on the person. Personally, I enjoy a good morning practice. It provides me with a balanced mind throughout the day. However if you're not a morning person or just don't have the time, practice when it's right for you! If you find that you don't have time to get to a class, even 15 minutes on the mat at home can be beneficial.
What do you recommend to eat before your class? after the class?
If you're hungry before class, I recommend something light such as half of a banana or a handful of almonds. After class, it's best to refuel with some kind of protein. I love edamame or greek yogurt!
What do you love about Good Vibes?
The people! It's so important to have warm and encouraging people around you and that's exactly what you get when you walk into Good Vibes. From the front desk staff to the instructors, everyone has such positive energy!
What do you teach in class?
I teach that it's okay to move like yourself. It doesn't matter what the person next to you is doing. All that matters is that you honour your body and do what feels best to you. I instruct proper alignment above all else. However it is up to the student to adjust in a way that feels right to them.
How will I feel after your class?
Rejuvenated! My classes are well rounded and include a variety of poses, great music and a soothing savasana!

Jessica Schepp first found yoga when she moved to New York City after finishing college at Florida State University. She stumbled upon a yoga studio that was warm, welcoming and instantly gave her a sense of community in such a big city. Growing up as a competitive dancer, the vinyasa flow came naturally to her. It didn't take long for yoga to become a way of life and newfound passion for Jessica. She soon decided she wanted to share her experiences with others and received her 200hr teacher training from Laughing Lotus Yoga Center in New York City. A born mover, Jessica enjoys incorporating free flowing movement into her vinyasa classes which encourages students to move in a way that feels most natural to their bodies. She adds an invigorating and inspirational playlist that enhances the experience and opens the heart. Come explore your practice, get lost in the music and breathe positivity into your life!
