Best time of the day to practice/exercise?

There isn't one! The best time of the day to do it is when it fits in your schedule!

What do you recommend to eat before your class and after?

Ideally nothing before, at least for an hour or two, but sometimes life doesn't happen that way and you find yourself rushing about. In which case I'd recommend a few bites of banana or a handful of nuts or dried fruit. Those are my go-to snacks when I need to get some fuel in my body before practicing or teaching. My favourite? A cocoa orange NAKD bar!

Afterwards is a different story, but whatever you eat it should have a good protein content. If it's meal time then that's easily fulfilled, otherwise I often aim for a nut milk, raw cacao and banana smoothie of sorts.

What do I love about Good Vibes?

Other than my fabulous students!? I love the fact that we're all encouraged to acknowledge each other at the beginning of class. I'm also a major lover of the SAD lights! Sunshine all year round!

What do you teach in class?

I like to think my teaching goes beyond the physical sometimes though I truly love to work on really fluid, challenging flow sequences that test the physical body. I always encourage everyone in my classes to recognise their own 'amazingness' - I'm a massive believer in possibility and learning how yoga can teach you to live a happier, healthier, bouncier life! We are all amazing human beings, we just need to recognise it!

How will I feel after your class?

FULL OF POSSIBILITY! Energised, happy and calmly content! (and like you've done a pretty hardcore thing!)

Tell us something surprising about yourself?

I have an alter-ego as a Marketing Consultant! I was also in a women's self-defence DVD with the SAS when I was younger - I even had an embarrassing centre page spread in Combat Magazine and Karate Magazine!
