Look and feel GREAT on your wedding day

Your wedding day will be a wonderful celebration for you and the one you love.

Rather than run yourself ragged in the build up to the event, lets be honest, even what begins as something low key and low stress can start to snowball.

Carve out some time each day to move, breathe consciously and alternate a Glow yogaPilatesPower PlatesGlow Ballet Tone and Glow Cycle class a day to benefit body, mind and soul so that you look AND feel radiant on your wedding day.

Here's an effective yoga move that will strengthen and tone your belly to give you a cinched in waist for your big day.


The Belly Buster - Chakravakasana

Come up to all fours, wrists under elbows, long biceps, index fingers pointing forwards and weight even between the hands, knees under hips, knees inner hip distance apart.

Exhale to float the right arm forwards, keeping the shoulder moving back and down and integrated in the upper back.

On the next exhale lift the opposite leg, maintaining symmetry through the hips.

Continue alternating in this way 8 times then lift and hold for 5 breaths with good form and tone through the abs, breathing steadily, before releasing back to child’s pose.

Good Practice Tip: Become aware of the natural curves of your spine; maintain length at the neck and the abdominals and ribs lifted, check your head hasn’t sagged down as this will cause an achy neck.

Injury-proof your body and strengthen your resolve with a two-hour workshop designed specifically for runners and cyclists. These practical, flowing sessions use yoga’s physical postures and mental training methods to keep the mind sharp and body strong throughout training and racing.

This ‘no plank, no dog’ workshop will focus on:

- A lunge sequence to strengthen the legs and glutes

- Running-specific balances to aid proprioception

- Tension-busting upper body stretches post-run and ride

- The DIY Race Mantra Guide– mix and match motivational mantras to find your own killer combination.

Meditation is a great tonic for modern day life. In a world where we are getting busier and moving quicker, Meditation offers an opportunity to slow down and come into the present moment. It helps to relieve stress and balance our emotional and mental states which often become supercharged in today’s environment with its focus on technology, speed and accomplishment. Meditation has also been scientifically proven to improve physical health by decreasing stress, helping sleep and boosting energy levels. It harnesses concentration and focus in work and daily activities.

This workshop will explore a range of techniques which you can practise anywhere, at any time of the day and can be adapted to how much time you have available. This will include a variety of breathing techniques, guided visualisations and specific meditation practises. The class will end with an extended yoga nidra – “yogi sleep”, a deep state of conscious relaxation, leaving you restored and revitalised.

Clive Fogelman has a creative and open-minded approach to yoga and meditation which is influenced by his therapeutic and sporting background. He believes meditation is a wonderful tool for dealing with the day to day challenges that life exposes us to and is particularly keen in making meditation feel practical and accessible to everyone.
