| Courses - Ski-fit The ski-ing season is upon us, and to make the most of your time on the slopes you really need to prepare yourself. Let the Good Vibes team help you to get piste-ready by helping you to build your ski-specific muscles. After our course you can kiss goodbye to burning thighs and aching muscles and hello to the après-ski parties. The Good Vibes Power-Plates Ski-Fit course is aimed at those who want to maximise their time on the slopes.
The six week Ski-Fit course works out your total body in the first two weeks and then you progress to challenging lower body work-outs including lots of dynamic and explosive movements as well as core strengthening. Working only the lower body the Power-Plates is quite tough so you really need to build up to it. Clients on a similar course have reported amazing changes to their fitness, higher level of endurance and no leg ache after a hard day on the slopes. You pay and book all your sessions in advance to ensure that you won’t be the unfit one in your ski-ing group this holiday! The Ski-Fit course is available in two options although we recommend 6 weeks of training prior to your holiday. Good Vibes Ski-Fit 6 week course (3 sessions a week) £325 This is for those who have time to really get ready for their ski-ing holidays. The course consists of 3 sessions a week over 6 weeks where two weeks are of total body of Power-Plate workouts followed by 4 weeks of lower body and core work. Ski-Fit Express 4 week course (3 sessions a week) £230 This is for clients who have been training for a while at Good Vibes and have a good level of fitness. This course jumps straight to the lower body and core strengthening consists of 3 sessions a week over 4 weeks. Please contact the relevant studio to book For both courses you should embark on a cardiovascular programme to get totally ski-fit as the heart and lungs are the engine that drive your body and will keep you going all day on the slopes at altitude. |
