If you are suffering from an injury or have a specific goal then our 25 minute training sessions are just what you need.

Your first session will involve a screening to assess your strengths, weaknesses and find out your goals.

Your sessions will then be planned around what you need be it  strength, mobility, flexibility or interval training.

These sessions are great for those who are looking for Sports specific training, getting their body back after pregnancy, getting ready for their wedding or recovering from injury.

Whatever your goals, we can help!

We hold them at off peak times and at the weekends. Why not book into a screening session for free and chat to our trainers. Pick your favourite trainer, who are all personal trainers or Pilates teachers. The training can be on the plate, off the plate or a combination of both.

The sessions are £35 for 25 minutes or 3 for £90 or 6 for £170. The times available are 9am - 11.30am, 2pm - 4.30pm and weekends.

Glow yoga Foundation workshops are for both beginners and those wanting to improve their technique. Led by Good Vibes Founder, Nahid de Belgeonne. You will benefit by attending all of the workshops, but you can also choose to drop in to a few. After these fun and inclusive 2 workshops, you can join a class with confidence.

From The Ground up

Saturday 7th March 1.30pm – 3.30pm £25  - Book in

This workshop looks at our relationship to the ground and how we can find our roots to allow our practice to flourish. We will pay attention to feet, hands and gravity! A fun and inclusive 2 hour workshop to get you grounded.

Shoulder opening

Saturday 11th April 1.30pm – 3.30pm £25 - Book in

This workshop looks at shoulder and upper body alignment and will explore the common downward dog pose, which is very easy to practice in a way that cause discomfort. We will look at all poses that rely on mobility and openness in the shoulder girdle and explore breathing techniques. A fun and inclusive 2 hour workshop to get you moving with ease.

Find your inner warrior

Saturday 16th May 1.30pm – 3.30pm £25 - Book in

This workshops looks at mobilising the hips and exploring the warrior poses and how to transition from one pose to the other with the least resistance. After this workshop you will have a better understanding of hip and knee alignment.

 

Backbends and Twists

Saturday 6th June 1.30pm – 3.30pm £25  - Book in

This workshop explores how to enjoy going into backbends with ease and how to move from the inner body into twists. After this workshop you will fearless in your backbends and deepen in your twists.

Nahid has a diverse background which covers fashion, technology and publishing.  She discovered yoga after she left a stressful job and found a much calmer way to be. She trained with The Yoga Academy in 2010, a BWY accredited course, as well as being a registered restorative yoga  teacher she trained in complete yoga nidra. She offers mindful classes and embraces an open approach to her continuing learning and teaching and is the yoga expert for Women’s Health Magazine UK and Aveda UK. Nahid teaches with humour and her daily yoga practice keeps her performing to her optimum.

Happy Valentine's day

Love, kindness and compassion are not words you often hear in the fitness industry, but that is why we are different.

On the week of Valentines why not take this message and turn it back on yourself.

It is SO much easier to be kind and loving to others but we often forget to be kind and loving towards ourselves.

Be kind and compassionate in your words, thoughts and actions to yourself and you find that you will be more readily able to spread the love out to others.

An easy way to start that is to enjoy a little rest, instead of pushing yourself all of the time, try a restorative yoga Bliss class.

Ruth teaches the popular Friday night 6pm, it's a beautiful way to end the week.

Choi teaches the Sunday class at 3.15pm a lovely way to end the weekend, if you want a real treat book into her flow class before for a nourishing 2 hours of yoga.

Clare teaches the more intense yin class every Thursday, this class will stretch and open you up for the more dynamic practices.

If you need some action before you let go, Glow Yang and Yin yoga is a sweaty flow to get your stuff out, followed by restorative yoga and guided meditation.

The Sunday 90 mins with Nahid is a great way to start the day, the class builds from restorative to a flow and ends with yoga nidra with the time to build the class, this is a treat for both mind and body.

The 75 minute classes are taught by Sarah C teaches on a Monday night to get over the Monday blues and Wednesday for a midweek mood booster.

And Niko who will get help you to get the week out of your system on a Friday night.

Yoga reminds us that, we are all the same

If you haven't yet tried yoga, now is the time to start. Yoga has many benefits from weight loss ( where your mind goes your body follows), to lowering bad cholesterol, blood pressure, keeping you agile and mobile and emotionally resilient.

Yoga counteracts the affects of modern living, increasing GABA levels in the body.

GABA is a hormone responsible for keeping your brain and nervous system functioning well and helps to promote feelings of calm in the body.

Those who suffer from depression, for instance,  tend to have lower levels of GABA.

To get your yoga journey onto a sure footing, Founder Nahid is teaching a monthly series of Glow Yoga Foundation 2 hour workshops starting in March and running through to June.

You can join one as a standalone workshop or come along to all of them to gain a better understanding of yoga poses and alignment. More details here.

We will also be offering a Pranayama ( breath) workshop on Sunday 26th April to delve into the anatomy of breathing as well as exploring a range of breathing techniques. Take home  breath exercises that you can use in your every day life to help you find the calm and peace in any given situation.

Antonia started ballet classes at the age of 4. She completed her MA in Movement Studies at Central School of Speech and Drama. Antonia trained and taught for Pilates International.
